Editing for Light and Focal Point

Hi Everyone,

I just created this 7 min video on how to edit for light and focal point in Photoshop... you should do this for each image that you post... Be gentle and don't "overcook" you image or "burn" it... see how the subtle changes make a big difference...

    Im trying to edited the photos the way that you explained in the video, but the version that i have and the version you have has some differences which is making it a little confusing for me to do. *this is my first time using photoshop. Ive tried to play around with it, but its just making the picture look weird. any suggestions ?

      All versions going back to the beginning have the lasso tool and the feathering slider.... They all have levels and brightness/contrast...just be gentle... it they are becoming "weird" then you are being too aggressive with the sliders in levels... Practice!
