I took this weeks photos downtown by the New Haven green capturing some of the court house, the library, and the bank and a light fixture. I really enjoyed taking the picture, however I need work on how to capture great shots. looking forward to learning more.
Normally shooting at night is beyond the technical ability of all but the most advanced photographers but you must be using an iPhone or something similar and it's night time ability is pretty amazing... on your Google drive of all the images you shot I particularly like the bicycle with the shadows cast by the streetlights. Many of the shots that you posted here are of objects "out there" and a bit far away... don't be shy, move close and fill the frame with design and light.
Two things you may notice about the night shooting... first, there is noise or small speckles that you can see especially in the sky. The other issue is camera shake from the camera and having to use a slow shutter speed because the level of light is low. So if you're careful to hold the camera very very still with ease kinds of evening and nighttime shots you will find that they'll be sharper.
